In the US, Heery's subsidiary Charter Builders is renovating the Cotton Bowl, which will create a state-of-the-art 84,000-seater stadium in Dallas, Texas.
Balfour Beatty Construction US has completed more than 70 hotel and resort projects valued at over $3 billion, such as the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, Texas. It is a major partner to Disney and has built 22 projects over the last 20 years, which include more than 19,000 hotel rooms at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida.
Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering provided the foundations for Wembley Stadium and for the Arsenal Emirates Stadium, where Haden Building Management provides facilities management services.
Elsewhere in the UK, Haden Young has provided mechanical and electrical (M&E) services for the Sage, Gateshead, and the Manchester Aquatics Centre. Balfour Beatty Construction and Balfour Kilpatrick have provided construction and M&E services respectively for projects such as Stirling Swimming Academy and the Xscape centre, near Leeds.
In South-East Asia, Gammon has recently completed construction of the HK$2.6 billion Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Macau (SAR).
