Facilities Management
Balfour Beatty companies, most notably Haden Building Management, provide comprehensive facilities and asset management expertise to UK customers in both the private and public sectors.
In 2006, Haden Building Management secured over £750m of new orders, including the nationwide services contract for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and a facilities management contract for the Metropolitan Police Authority.
Its customers under long-term framework contracts include the Royal Mail, BT and a number of our PPP hospitals and schools schemes. It is working on the facilities management portion of our new PPP schemes in Birmingham and a new contract for the Ministry of Defence at HMS Nelson. Other customers include the BBC, BAA, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Land Securities.
The acquisition of Covion in 2007 further strengthens Haden Building Management's capability in this area.
