For the sixth year running we participated in the BITE survey. This year’s result places us fourth out of nine other companies participating in our sector. In 2006 we achieved an overall score of 80% placing us in the silver band.
We scored 100% in the corporate strategy and assurance sections and 92% in the environmental management section.
We continue to make progress in the employee environmental programme section. This year we scored 100% across all parts of the section.

We currently have insufficient information to compare our environmental performance in our non-UK businesses with industry norms.
